PAYMENT TERMS

For reservations made on Airbnb; Please check their website.

For other platforms; At the time of booking, a deposit of 50% is due. The balance will be collected 30 days before your arrival. All prepaid payments are non-refundable.

 

If the number of people exceeds the reservation, without notice to the owner, a charge of $ 70 per person per day will automatically apply.

 

To avoid check-in issues and surcharges, be sure to book for the correct number of travelers as the number of people will be verified during your stay.

 

For safety and security reasons, most of our properties are equipped with exterior cameras pointed only at exterior doors.

 

ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY

Access to the cottage is via a combination lock, a key box or our manager will welcome you. Instructions for accessing the property will be sent to you by email and / or SMS in the days prior to your arrival.

 

SPA

Instructions for using the spa:

WATER MUST BE KEPT CLEAN AND FREE OF FOAM BUBBLES TO AVOID A $ 200 SURCHARGE.

 

  • Our tips for keeping the water clear:
  • Shower needed to remove all oils, lotions, creams, makeup and mosquito repellants;
  • No food;
  • No colored liquids in the water;
  • Always close the cover after use.
  • At the end of the day, put in 1/2 cap of treatment powder as well as the diffuser / float after use to ensure that the water remains clear during your stay.
  • Our steward will deliver your spa with beautiful balanced water and check the quality when you leave.

    EXTERIOR FIRES REGULATIONS

    • It is allowed to make a fire in the open air and ONLY in the place provided for this purpose.
    • The fire must be under the constant supervision of the tenant and this person must be at least 18 years old.

      • It is strictly forbidden to burn any source other than firewood and / or tree branches.
      • It is forbidden to feed or maintain a fire with an accelerator.
      • The municipality reserves the right to immediately extinguish any fire, if it considers that smoke, embers or sparks are disturbing the neighborhood, if a complaint has been filed with the municipality, or affects visibility on a highway or if it considers that there is a risk to the safety of persons or to the integrity of nearby property.
      • The time for the lights to go out is 11 p.m. at the latest.
         

    HOUSE RULES

    • Only electric fondue pots are allowed.
    • Breakage and damage must be reported to the owner as soon as possible.

     

    HOUSE RULES

    • The tenant must be at least 25 years old.
    • Under no circumstances can the landlord be held responsible for damage, loss or theft suffered by the tenant and his guests.
    • Partys and events are not accepted under the owner's terms.In the event of a complaint from the neighbors, a penalty of $ 500 is due and must be paid by the tenant.
    • It is forbidden to use a loudspeaker or an amplifier other than those intended for this purpose.
    • Lock doors and windows when you are away.

Accordingly, he assumes full responsibility. Under no circumstances can the owner be held responsible for any problem related to the terrain or weather conditions. This includes, among other things, the condition of roads, paths or passages and pedestrian access. Any injury following a fall or any other accident or damage to vehicles will be the responsibility of the tenant.
    • Make sure your vehicle is properly equipped to deal with weather conditions.
    • Any repair of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the tenant.
    • During the rental period, any damage not attributable to normal wear and tear caused by the tenant to the building, furniture, equipment, accessories or land will be the tenant's responsibility. In such a case, reasonable expenses equivalent to the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged good will be necessary.
    • Do not throw anything in the sinks, toilets or bathtubs that could block the pipes, otherwise the repair costs will be bounded to the tenant.
    • The Quebec lodging tax of 3.5% is included in the published rates.
    • The tenant agrees to:
    • Read instructions and rules and communicate them to companions and guests.
    • Refund any damage or additional cleaning caused during the stay.
    • In the event of non-compliance with these rules by the tenant or his hosts, the lessor reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and to evict the tenant and his guests on site. In this case, the landlord will keep any amount paid to him without the possibility of reimbursement.

     

     

    WHEN YOU LEAVE

     

    • Clean the kitchen and start the dishwasher.
    • Return the chalet and the equipment to the same condition as on arrival and replace the furniture in their respective places.
    • Put all the towels on the bathrooms floors.
    • Empty the fridge and freezer of their contents.
    • Dispose of the garbage in the respective bins at the exit of the site.
    • Lock all doors and close windows.
